Three ales: "Bevan" - returned as undrinkable, no problem but beer was left on sale. "Export" - popular and drinkable but very cloudy. "Dark" - excellent. Very pleasant staff. Real fire, very warm venue and very welcoming.
Like walking into grandads front room with the fire roaring and the music playing. Go enjoy a nice pint or any tipple of your choice. The staff are always very accommodating of any customer. Prices are very good aswell and I'm sure the atmosphere won't dissapoint.
An OK Bar with a really good Juke box. Good price on alcohol and like being in a living room
Great pub and some nice beer. Only fault is you can't hear the Jukebox so it's pointless putting money in nowadays. Everyone talks over it as it's so quiet.
Popped into this bar on the high street in Maesteg. Place was pretty full and sadly only one bar staff on duty so waited a while to be served. Prices were ok. Music was playing but far too loud as we had to practically shout at each other across the table to have a conversation. Only had one drink but may have stayed longer but for the music.
